Kirk has an exceptional track record of cultivating business and servicing the industry’s leading enterprise institutions, data center operators, cloud providers as well as all of FAMGA (Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Amazon).

With over two decades of expertise in designing, developing and effectively delivering product to market for leading data center and infrastructure companies, Kirk is responsible for helping date center owners and operators with expanding their service offering to large enterprise and cloud players.

Kirk has managed diverse teams spread out throughout EMEA and North America supporting customers across multiple verticals of industry including financial services, telecommunications, digital media, entertainment, system integration, managed services as well as multiple private equity partners.

Kirk was recently a part of the executive leadership team at Aligned Energy and helped create the growth strategy with Macquarie Infrastructure Partners (MIP), which is an investment fund managed by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA), as well as BlueMountain Capital Management, LLC.

Kirk is the founder and Managing Partner of OVERWATCH Mission Critical which offers both traditional Strategic Data Center Consulting as well as state-of-the art full-service, Owners Representation professional services dedicated to the Mission Critical and Telecom Industries.

Kirk’s Data Center and Mission Critical career began in 1995 when he volunteered for US Navy Nuclear Fast Attack Submarine service (SSN-691).

Over the course of his career Kirk has worked for Medtronic, Active Power, Eaton Corporation, Hewlett-Packard’s Technology Services Consulting practice (EYP), CyrusOne Data Centers, NOVA Mission Critical and most recently Aligned Energy. Kirk has served in numerous Executive Roles throughout his career.

Kirk is also the founder of the Data Center Austin Conference (DC/AC) which is a technical summit focused on bringing data center professionals together at a launch point of discovery and collaboration to solve tomorrow’s capacity challenges.

In addition to having worked with a large number of the Fortune 1000 Kirk has worked with some of the largest data center providers in the world throughout the globe.

Kirk is a member of the “Class of 2010 Military Top 40 under 40” and currently resides in Texas.
